Comp-Tac Kydex C-T.A.C. IWB Holster
Combining all the best features of the Comp-Tac Gurkha and
Comp-Tac Shirt Tucker, the C-T.A.C. (Concealed-Tactical Adjustable Cant)
holster is the latest generation IWB holster from Comp-Tac.
The unique C-T.A.C. mounting strategy centers around the rig's
adjustable belt clips. The C-T.A.C. is sold with one mounting kit of your choosing.
The mounting kit design allows the user to set the front and back mounting points
higher or lower to fit their individual needs.
The
animated graphic to the right shows many of the positions available to
the wearer. The cant and ride height are fully adjustable. Please note,
however, that the user must purposely remove the mounting clips and position
them as desired. It's a very simple process that only requires unscrewing
and adjusting two fasteners. When attached, the clips are absolutely stable
and will not move on their own. Please note that this graphic depicts the standard C.T.A.C model, not the more versatile Slide model for sale here. |

The C-T.A.C. holster is attached to belt clips front and back
by flexible leather tabs like that on the Comp-Tac Gurkha. Since the forward
tab is not on the actual body of the holster, the entire package is thinner
than the Gurkha. While the bodies of the Comp-Tac IWB holsters are made from
sheets of kydex 090" thick, the clips are made from thicker .125"
kydex for increased durability. Typically, a clip on the outside of the holster
body added .25" to the overall thickness of the package. The unique C-T.A.C
design avoids that extra thickness by putting the forward clip on a strut off
the holster. The C-T.A.C. front and rear struts allow for a combination of flexibility,
adjustability, stability, and concealability.
The C-T.A.C. comes in two models:
Standard Model - The standard model offers
nearly full coverage for the entire length of the weapon and will typically
only accommodate the exact weapon that the holster is manufactured for.
Slide Model - The Slide models offer an open
bottomed design that will accommodate weapons from the same series in various
barrel lengths. At this time, the Slide models are only available for the Colt
1911 series, the Glock 9/40/357 series, and the Glock 10mm/.45 cal series. As
an example, the Slide model for the Colt 1911 would fit a Government 5",
Colt Commander, Colt Officers, or Colt Defender.

The C-T.A.C. comes with one mounting kit of your choosing (C-Clip is an additional
$3.00), and additional kits can be ordered below.
We believe the CTAC is one of the best kydex IWB's on the market today in terms
of adjustability, comfort, and concealability. We also feel
that it offers quite a bit of holster for the money. If you
