SureFire G2 Nitrolon Tactical Flashlight

The SureFire G2 Nitrolon is a Xeon powered, high-intensity incandescent flashlight that has a number of uses including:

• Tactical applications
• Self-defense
• General use

The G2 is modeled after the popular SureFire 6P, except the G2 has a tough polymer body instead of the aluminum body on the 6P. The G2 light puts out a high intensity, pre-focused tactical-level beam that produces 2 times the light output of a large two D-cell flashlight. The light output from the G2 is bright enough to temporarily blind and disorient a person by impairing his night-adapted vision. The light output from the G2 can be nearly doubled with the optional P61 lamp.

The polymer body is rugged, lightweight, and corrosion proof (unlike the aluminum body of the 6P). The G2 features a O-ring seal that is weatherproof and water resistant. The tailcap on the G2 features a press button activated instant on, which can be converted to a constant-on when twisted. The tailcap also features a lockout switch that will prevent accidental activation when the light is in transit to storage.

The G2's small size, light weight, portability, and high output make it an excellent light for all around use.
