Wilderness 1 1/2" 5 Stitch Instructor's Belt

The original Wilderness Instructor Belt was developed more than 17 years ago and has been refined ever since, now offering higher quality and more options than ever. The belt was originally designed to clip into a secure system while "instructing" others in high places. Produced from specially treated nylon, it's a tremendously strong belt with a specially designed V-ring buckle that has been treated with a non-glare black coating.

How strong is it? In lab testing, the Wilderness Instructor Belt has withstood anywhere from 5,900 lbs. of static stress to more than 8,000 lbs. of static stress without failing.

When the Wilderness Belt was first introduced, customers started experimenting, and discovered that, in addition to it's Fire and Rescue uses, it also worked great as an everyday pants belt for casual or outdoor use. Those same folks also discovered that the Wilderness Belt made a fantastic gun belt for range use and concealed-carry. Today it is widely used by Fire, Rescue, law enforcement, military special operations, and shooters all over the world.

Strength - A standard belt lacks the strength to support a weapon over a period of time. It may work initially, but will begin to stretch and sag with continued use. The Wilderness Belt is extremely strong (It actually has a higher tensile strength than leather) and is built to withstand the stress of supporting a weapon day in and day out.

Comfort - We found the Wilderness Belt to be thinner and lighter than most double thick leather gun belts. This makes it extremely comfortable for all day wear.

Fit - The patented V-buckle (seen below) uses a unique float bar to slide "lock" the belt into place. As a result, the fit is much more adjustable than a traditional leather gun belt.

All materials used in the belts are of the highest quality available. Every seam is multistitched and taped with nylon binding tape.

Any belts that are sized larger than 42" are considered custom, and will add an additional fee into the overall belt price.
